Places Lived

Mark Juliano has lived in a number of cities in his life, from East Coast to West Coast, and in the middle too. Here are some of those.

New York City – Born in NYC and lived there until age 8. Then returned to the Big Apple after college for 3 more years.

Jericho, NY – After NYC, moved to Jericho where he attended Jackson Elementary and Jericho High School.

Princeton, NJ – The home of Princeton University – lived there from 1977 to 1981

Palo Alto, CA – Lived in Palo Alto while attending Stanford Business School, and then with his wife Lisa Lisanti for 4 years after B-school.

Pittsburgh, PA – Moved to Pittsburgh, PA, Lisa’s home city and lived in Sewickley – a lovely suburban community just outside the city, for 17 years. Pittsburgh is a very nice small city home to dozens of universities, top medical centers and a diverse mix of industries (no, it’s no longer Steel which is less than 10% of today’s economy)

Chautauqua, NY – Mark and Lisa (and the kids) vacationed often in Chautauqua, NY just outside The Chautauqua Institution grounds — a wonderful community with a summer program which features classes, symphony, ballet, opera, lectures, a summer kids’ camp and much more.

Sonoma, CA – Moved to Sonoma for 4 years from 2008 to 2012. As most people know, Sonoma is home to one of the world’s greatest wine regions, and is a beautiful community 40 minutes north of San Francisco.

Erie, PA – Currently living in Erie, about 1.5 hours north of Pittsburgh to be closer to his children for a while. Plan to return to California — specifically Placerville, CA, which is in the foothills to the Sierra Mountains (and Lake Tahoe) — about half way between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. This area is great for hiking, cycling, camping and of skiing, as well as some gorgeous scenery and vistas.

Placerville, CA – stay tuned …
